Audio file

Audio files can be used in many different ways at elearnio. In your course, for example, it could be useful to record certain content for your participants. You will learn how to do this here.

Add audio file

You can find the audio player on the right side in the course elements under Audio. Simply drag and drop the course element into the desired section under Course content.

On the following page you can upload your audio file in the Source files field.  Use either the Upload Audio button or the drag-and-drop method, where you simply drag your audio file into the dashed box. Note with this method that it must be an mp3 audio file. The participant has the possibility to download the audio file while listening to it.

Next, give your audio file a title in the corresponding field. Optionally, you can create a short description of the audio file that will be displayed to the participant in the course.  

Record audio file

With a click on Start Recording, you can directly record an audio file. Afterwards you have the possibility to repeat the recording, download it or upload it directly.

To play your audio file in the audio player and to check if everything works correctly, click on Preview in the upper right corner. Click on Create to save the audio file.
